(*3) “Shuni-e” has been held annually ever since year 752, as a religious rite at a Buddhist temple.
(*4) “Transmit” is translation of a Japanese word “hasshin” which is a word related to coinage, but that has been given the meaning of “transmitting both frequency and passion”.
